Even as a teenager, I was fascinated by the mind's ability to heal the body.

In the mid 1980s, while I was in acupuncture school, I developed IBS and bad allergies. My way of rewarding myself for working hard at my studies was a weekly binge on humungous banana split sundaes. I made  myself so sick from consuming so much sugar and dairy, that I developed allergies and I couldn't even walk down the detergent aisle in the grocery store.

Throughout my career as an acupuncturist, I continued studying self-healing techniques from a variety of disciplines, working on healing my own health issues.

I have a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and have taught acupuncture at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, BC.

Now my focus is on helping others to discover their own amazing capacity for self-healing which was my first interest even as a teenager: the mind’s role in healing.

As a health coach I draw from my in depth training in the fields of  neuroscience, autogenic training, Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, acupressure, qigong, and meditation to design a personal program to fit your needs.

I gratefully acknowledge that I live and work in the traditional territory of the Tla'amin First Nation.

“I wanted to thank you again for all of your help in Powell River. I had been struggling with pain for almost four years and experienced a wide array of health care techniques. Never before has the pain virtually instantly disappeared and have I been able to continue with full use of my left arm immediately. I also appreciate the amount of interest you took in getting me healthy. It is so rare to find someone who goes above and beyond to help people live their lives pain free. I would never have been able to play that second concert without your help.”

"I am looking forward to another spectacular night blooming of my Cereus cactus this year. For two years in a row, I have had no reaction when it blooms. I am so grateful to you for the work we did on my hyper-sensitivity. I am so happy that I did not have to give away my favourite house-plant.

Thanks so much for giving me back my enjoyment of Night Blooming Cereus!"
